Awareness about AI determineswhether AI will lift someone up,or leave them behind.

GETAI Foundation was founded on a single conviction: artificial intelligence will be either a great equalizer or a great disequalizer in the decades ahead — and the deciding variable is awareness; knowledge about how to use AI for their benefit.

The biggest reason for inequalityhas been Information Asymmetry.

Opportunity has always followed information

Closer you are to knowledge, better you do

Everyone knew it was unfair

But none had a solution

That's now Changed

Only half the world can read proficiently, but nearly everyone can speak

And AI can meet a person in their own language, Spoken, not only written

Which is why awareness about AI is nowthe determining factor.

Reach only the connected, and AI becomes the greatDisequalizer

Reach everyone, and AI becomes the greatEqualizer

GETAI Foundation exists towork on the side ofeveryone.

Our Vision

A world in which artificial intelligence widens human opportunity across every community, rather than concentrating it among those who already have access.

Our Mission

To bring AI literacy and capability to underserved communities through free sessions delivered with partners worldwide — and to build, license and steward AI technologies that widen access to opportunity.

Six Commitments.

Concrete over abstract

Real communities and real needs — whether the goal is a working command of AI tools or, first, the confidence to engage with them.

Genuinely free

Pro bono, no conditions, no upsell. We are founder-funded and do not solicit donations.

Honest about outcomes

We do not overclaim. Any specific factual claim we make about our work is true.

Built to last

We develop and steward our own technology, which keeps the mission independent of any grant cycle.

Dignity first

We never talk down. The people we serve are capable; they have simply been far from the information.

Reach through partners

We work through the organisations communities already trust — enabling them, not replacing them.

The people behind the work.

Mia Sarojini Kynadi

Co-Founder · Lead AI Practitioner

Mia leads the technical and teaching heart of GETAI. A technologist by training, with prior telecommunications and software engineering experience at Qualcomm and Cognizant, she went on to complete the graduate program in AI from Stanford, and multiple other programs from MIT and Harvard.

A sought-after speaker on artificial intelligence, she turns that expertise toward the people usually last to receive it — designing and delivering different sessions herself, at no cost to the communities she teaches.

The Bench

A bench of practitioners.

Beyond its founders, GETAI draws on volunteers from the VentureFactory.AI collective — engineers and leaders who choose to give working hours to this cause, with their companies sponsoring the time. We add to the bench carefully, and only with people who share the conviction that this work should be free.

Governance

Structured for the long term.

GETAI Foundation is a Singapore company limited by guarantee — a non-profit governed by a small board, with a constitution that anchors its long-term direction to the mission.

Education is our first programme, not our whole ambition. Wherever information gaps constrain who gets to participate, whether in learning, livelihoods, or opportunity, we build, license, and steward AI that closes them.
